Windows store wont let me download apps [2020]

I cannot download any apps from the WIndows store. It either shows it pending for a long period of time or gives me some error code. Please help. I can't figure it out!! Microsoft Windows Boards. I restarted my computer and the button came back but now its been 3 or 4 days and all it will show me is starting download but wont download, it also will let me search for updates but I left it sitting and it just keeps loading. Windows 10 S won't let me install Firefox. Windows 10 in S mode does not allow the installation of Firefox or other apps from outside of the Microsoft Store.
